Anaheim Angels

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are a Major League Baseball franchise based in Anaheim, California, aligned in the Western Division of the American League. Because of the unusual length of the team's official name, most news organizations (notably the Associated Press) refer to the club as the Los Angeles Angels. The team is still referred to as the Anaheim Angels by the city of Anaheim and the California Angels by some longtime fans of the team. They are also informally known by their nickname, the Halos. The home venue of the Angels is Angel Stadium of Anaheim, located less than three miles east of Disneyland on Katella Avenue.
